Evan and I hosted his family's Christmas celebration for the first time this year! We finished the kitchen in the nick of time! (Well, we still have some work to do, but at least its functional and pretty!) I had SO much fun setting the table :)
My favorite part are these "Kitchen Papers" placemats (here).
I then alternated between monogrammed linen napkins and tartan plaid napkins (I only had 6 of each, and we had 8 people for dinner so it was a necessity!). I tied everything together (literally!) with red striped grosgrain ribbon.
Here is a shot of the kitchen! I'll walk through all the details in another post :)
And here is it just before sitting down to eat... champagne glasses full, snow falling outside, and of course, plenty of fat hydrangeas :)
Absolutely beautiful holiday decor!!

ReplyDeleteSara,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful holiday table setting.
You must be so proud of all the work you and hubby have done and how nicely every detail came together.
Wishing you both a very Happy New year and all the best in 2013!
Can't wait to see what what you guys will do next with the house.
This as absolutey adorable! I love your ladder shelf type things in your dining room. And that marshmellow wreathe you made quite a few years back. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteYour home looks gorgeous and so festive in the most tasteful way imaginable. ;)

Amazing Christmas dinner party. The dinner table is looking awesome and centerpieces are awesome. Thanks for sharing your awesome décor here. Last week attended my friend’s dinner party at one of event venues Chicago. It was really very enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very cute child. It is a very warm family. I would like to have this son very much.
