I'm 13 weeks tomorrow, woo hoo! I'm just now starting to have a little baby bump, which is super fun. The not so fun part? I have had the worst "evening sickness" (as opposed to morning sickness) for the last 7 weeks. Every single night starting at about 6 or 7:00pm, without exception. I'm hoping now that I'm sliding into my second trimester it will start to subside. However, even if it doesn't, it is still completely worth it. I tell myself it just means the baby is growing so that it is a GOOD thing :)
In the meantime, Evan's been taking really good care of me, and the dog, and the house.... He's a saint! (Don't let his pillow-stuffed shirt and grimace fool you in that picture, lol)
We are diving into decorating the nursery (and un-decorating the office) this weekend so I'll definitely share pictures!
Oh and in case you are wondering, we are definitely going to find out the sex. The plan is to share the gender of the baby with family and friends immediately, but keep the name a secret until the baby is born.
That's all for now! Thanks for sharing in our excitement :)
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!!! So excited for you :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. This totally made my day!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Such exciting news! Can't wait to see the nursery!
Congratulations!! How exciting!!
ReplyDeleteThe second trimester is definitely easier than the first. Hope your sickness subsides.
Also, we did the same thing with the gender and name... we waited until after she was born to officially tell people her name. One, we wanted to have a surprise to announce. And two, what if we wanted to change our minds?? Or what if somebody didn't like our choice and told us? Then it'd be in the back of our minds. But stay strong. You won't believe the amount of pressure you'll get to share the name! Seriously!! But it was so worth it.
Good luck!
Rachel
