Parade of Homes Week 2014 - House #4

This house took me by surprise! It's not 100% my style but I overall really, really liked it. It had so much natural light and a calm, peaceful atmosphere. I loved the kitchen countertops and the kitchen sink!

This home was built by Coppertree Homes. It was listed for $1,047,500 and has 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths.

No matter how long I stood back with my camera, these people didn't seem to want to budge to get out of my way for a clean picture! :)

We popped into a couple of other houses, but they were so ordinary I didn't end up snapping any pictures. Unfortunately, due to how I was feeling we didn't make it through the whole tour! Is it weird that I'm already looking forward to next year's Parade? Guess by not making it through ALL of the houses I didn't quite get my fix!

Parade of Homes Week 2014 - House #3

I LOVED the modern, farmhouse vibe the exterior of this house displayed! (Lately I've been leaning towards this style in general for some reason!) I love the painted brick, the black trim around the windows, the natural wood, the overhangs.. I think its all gorgeous!

My ONE issue with this house is that I felt like it was one of those homes that when you walk into it, it isn't what you expected based upon the exterior. I felt like the styles were a little disjointed. For example, I feel like the kitchen of this house belongs in a much more traditional home. I expected to see one that had a little more rustic, modern, streamlined style. Do you agree?

This house was built by 3 Pillars Homes and was listed for $989,500. It was 5,912 square feet and had 6 bedrooms 5.5 baths.

Parade of Homes Week 2014- House #2

I thought they nailed this home on the curb appeal. I LOVE the black and white color scheme with the accented red front door and garage doors. However, the interior design kind of lost it for me. I did love the dining room, but I think that's about where the love affair ended for me! What do you think?

Parade of Homes Week 2014 - House #1 Continued!

Here is the second half of the tour of house #1 which I featured yesterday. As I mentioned, I LOVE the hearth room off of the kitchen. It is so bright and beautiful and cozy. Once again, I also really love the curtains! What do you think? 

I loved the idea of the texture in the bathroom above... until I thought about dusting it! Aghh!

(I think my pain meds were kicking in at this point and making me goofy, lol)
