I was about to write a post about how I'm in a total J.Crew rut with my wardrobe, and then almost instantaneously I fall in love with a bunch of tops and necklaces from J.Crew Factory. Go figure! I guess I love my J.Crew rut!

Summertime Blues

It is the time of the year when I cannot get enough BLUE in my life! Are you like me in the sense that you are obsessed with different colors at different times of the year? For me it is bright yellow in January and February, white March through May, blue June through August, golden yellow in fall, and green (and white again!) in December. Overall though, the blue is my favorite :)

 

Right now I'm loving navys and shades of cornflower blue. Here are some of my favorite products right now, which all happen to be blue!

New, Comfy, & Cute

I would describe my style as casual, classic, comfortable, and cute :) I don't buy a LOT of clothes and accessories, but when I do I make sure I buy quality items that I just LOVE.

Retail Therapy @ J.Crew.. never fails!

Last time I posted, I was a little stressed about the demolition in the kitchen and the mess.. Unfortunately, things only got worse.. Thursday I started feeling under the weather, and Friday I was diagnosed witih strep throat and an ear infection!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

After resting up for two solid and a half days, I decided to venture to the mall to get a smoothie (There is nothing like a chilly drink to soothe a sore throat!)  On the way, I ended up bopping into J.Crew for a few minutes and of course couldn't resist purchasing a few of their new, beautiful fall items! I ended up getting two scarves (dot) and the sweater below.

I am such a sucker for polka dots and leapord print! :) I was actually thrilled to see this polka dot sweater there in this color and in my size. I tried to order it online several days ago and it was sold out! SO, while shopping didn't cure my ailments or clean my kitchen, it DID lift my spirits :)

However, I have some good news about the kitchen floor demolition too... Will share soon!

Casual Christmas Outfit

Christmas is super casual with my family! We are usually in our PJ's 'til noon... but this is the comfy, cute outfit I'd love to change into to play scrabble with the sibs, cuddle in front of the fire with the hubs, go on a walk w/the pup, drink wine w/my mom, and sneak Christmas cookies w/my dad :)
